| Post subject: | Examples of embedding NLP into text messages |
I've been embedding NLP into text messages lately just so see what results I get. What I'll do is randomly insert an extra space or two in non meaningful ways into my texting with a certain girl. This is to get her used to it. for example, I might start a convo like this: Code: omg, you won't believe what happened today!
You see, it's mostly an extra space right after a punctuation or near a long word, like I did right before "happened."Then later after she's used to seeing stray spaces in the convo, I'll insert some slick NLP embeds like this: Code: ya, can you believe after that she went to sleep. with me, i need the right mood to relax first.
Code: did they go out? with me, it's easier to just say yes to that type of thing. you know?
Code: lol i just realized what time it is. ive got an early meeting tomorrow and you do too. we both should go to bed. good night! :)
Now, I've tried these in real life. In fact they are (as close as I remember) excerpts from actual text convos I have had. The context is not important, but how i typed it is important. I can't really say whether they were successful or not since I can't go back in a time machine and try without text-NLP to see if there's a difference in the girl's response, but it certainly hasn't hurt me.Let me know what you guys think. |

I can definitely see the NLP being used. I've heard of a lot of anchoring being used in what people text as well. I like the way you did it, the results is what really matters I suppose. Let us know how this turns out! |

Isn't it too obvious? Or did you use the stray spaces long before the "NLP-Texts"? |

Of course it's obvious that he uses spaces, but the other person doesn't know why. You need to get her used to extra/stray spaces without thinking about it. Only then will she not analyze them, only subconsciously pick up on them. I think he said that in the first post as well, that he just used them before things like long words and stuff. Continue doing this, but THEN create "hidden messages". |

I think maybe you could capitalize certain boundary words as an alternative, like "did they Go out? with me, It's easier to Just say yes To that type of thing. You know?" |

Wait a minute. If she is used to the fact that you space the words out well then there are no embedded commands anymore. It's like talking and using an embedded command in every sentence. It loses it's effectiveness. I guess it would work if you don't try and get her used to it. She ain't exactly going to ask you why you space some words out. |

To be honest none of you guys really know what you're talking about. Such an embedded command through text will have virtually zero effect. Now this is my opinion, because it is very difficult to measure the effect of NLP techniques. But seriously, spend less time throwing the odd embedded command in a text because it's going to make her think you're weird more than it will make her pants wet. NLP is most effective when used profusely and stacked. That's why we use patterns, not just an odd command here and there. |

It wasn't very nice to say the guys posting here don't know what they're talking about. Following Bandler & Grinder my understanding & experience is; you don't need to stack a crapload of NLP to get an effect. E.g. Someone can be telling you stories about themselves, you anchor a negative trigger & a positive emotion as they re-live them. Fire simultaneously voila instant process change. Peace |
