Hey Guys, I'm learning NLP, namely basic anchoring. I'm extremely interested in the social aspects of effective vocabulary. So I ask you, what are some of the most effective words (adjectives?) you're using in your anchoring. Obviously positive and forward sounding language is the key here. However it would be awesome to hear some your favorite words/sentences and how you physically convey them. Peace |

English is not my first language, so my list wouldn't be much worth, but I use adjectives and adverbs as often as I can, and I usually vary them throughout the conversation: Preferably I am able to pick up on the persons own words (you know how some people use a lot of the same adjectives and such; If it's something positive I am anchoring I sometimes have them describe how it feels, and then use that... I think I picked that up from In10se or one of those, as a sort of state-deepening technique, (as having the person describe what she is experiencing forces her to meta-state, and thus naturally fractionate)) Kenrick Cleveland has a list he calls the 18 most powerful words. Since I'm such a good fella, and I think everyone are entitled access to all knowledge, I'll list them for you ;P Adjectives/Adverbs: Naturally, Easily, Unlimited Awareness: Aware, Realize(ing), Experience(ing) Time/Number: Before, During, After Spatial: Among, Expand, Beyond Cause and Effect: And, As Causes, Because Commands: Now, Stop Btw: the word Because is probably The most powerful word... Here is Ross Jeffries mode for eliciting states. They consist of 1. Weasel Phrase 2. Verb 3. Adjective 4. desired state. These are his favorites of each: Weasel phrase: -people can -someone can -people might -if you were to -imagine (in this case counts as WP and verb) -if someone was to Verb: -imagine -feel -do -think -allow -permit Adjective: -complete -extreme -total -absolute -amazing -uncontrollable -powerful Desired state: -attraction -lust -arousal -horniness -trust -love -infatuation -desire -intrigue Weasel phrases can sometimes be disregarded when put into quotes (you are telling her something that someone or something else said). |
