I heard that Obama, US presidential candidate uses NLP in his speaches. Can anyone deny, or validate that? |

Of course he does. If you watch his speeches he anchors feelings to where he looks at during his speeches |

For sure. NLP doesn't necessarily have to mean purposeful hypnotic patterns. The tools in it have come natural to the greatest speakers of all time. Winston Churchill was outstanding at persuasive talking, and this was before 'NLP' was even really defined. Many tools that are taught in NLP, most people would recognize. These include using ambiguity, cause and effect relations, use of quotes, repetition, confident voice tonality, and many many more. McCain does this well too. Look at this part of the speech and you will see clearly how powerful this NLP stuff is. Powerful, powerful stuff. |

I see NLP being used by McCain and Obama all the time. In specific, the new direction line Obama loves to use at his rallys. lol |

NLP is extremely common in all forms of radio and televised advertising, not just political advertising and speaking. Once you know what to look and listen for, it's astonishing how commonly it's used. |

Change we can believe in What the hell does this mean? It means something different to everyone. NLP has many facets one is about appearing to get into their head. This statement gives the listener the feeling or idea that you both believe in the same change. But the master of NLP is Bill Clinton. He makes everyone believe that he is talking just to you by using ambiguties and rhetoric. I am not impressed with either McCain or Obama's ability to set the frame. But Bill was the master at setting the frame on any issue. He even tried to redefine IS. Bill is the master. |
