| Post subject: | NLP on an ADHD chick |
Hello all. I know a good bit of NLP and have tried to use some basic patterns and linking with this chick Ive been hangin with. I am trying to draw her in a bit closer but she is a bit ADHD and get distracted very easily. Anyone have anything good for this? I can get her pretty engaged in conversation if its just the two of us hanging out. Otherwise, in a social setting where there is too much stimulus, she is easily distracted (I attribute this to the ADHD). I would like to have her more 'into me' and have her trying to spend more time with me rather than always being so flaky. I am certain that if I can link the right things, her ADHD will only amplify this and have her all over me. Thanks |

I've dated a severely ADHD chick for about 9 months. What I did is negged her every time she started to flake. If you say things like "My dog has a better attention span than you, " and freeze her out a little, you'll start to condition her to listen. Hope that helps bud. |

Hmmm, I'd be careful with this. ADHD , although being one of the MOST over diagnosed conditions, and other afflictions can make hypnosis and NLP very hap hazard unless you really know what you're doing (which I would quite confidently say, no one on here can claim - Anyone a qualified hypnotherapist?) . If it were me, I would stick to some more traditional methods of rapport building, ie maintaining strong eye contact, kino and so forth. NLP is best used in a quite environment, whether she has ADHD or not. From what you describe I wouldn't be blaming her ADHD, perhaps work on you're AMOG skills and you're ability to take control of framing. Most people are distracted in a club or bar, music takes away (although if controlled can add greatly) from your voice, people walking about distracts her vision and so on, this is why its hardly recommended to to try it there. |
