I just listened to an interview regarding F J Shark's new thing The Keys To The Kingdom Of Women which seems well worth investigating. Driftwood I'm curious why you think it's off the mark? You're entitled to your own opinion though. I certainly know the audio I was referring to has bits in it where I'm thinking - Shark that is sooo AFC (stuff like opening doors and pulling out seats for women...) In general his stuff seems to be spot on. As an example in the audio interview, I referred to, Shark makes lots of differences between 'premium' women and 'discounts' essentially it's down to gratitude and self esteem - premiums are full of themselves, and are ungrateful whereas as discounts are more appreciative. He then went on to describe getting involved with a 'premium in disguise' - you think you're getting a discount but you're getting a premium - it described my former marriage to a 't' - little sex (premiums are meant to also hate oral sex!), constant criticism, control freakery, selfish attitude, users and abusers... |

The author presents women's thought processes as way too logical and way too mean. The entire frame of the videos, "what are women thinking?", isn't right. A more appropriate frame would be"what are they feeling?" or "what are their reflexes?". Ever get a fat chick digging on you? What were you thinking? You were repulsed but I bet there wasn't a wordy internal monologue going on in your head while the fat chick was hitting on you. The repulsion is very immediate and very instinctive. And the repulsion isn't accompanied by all this hating on the fat chick now is it? When I get hit on by a fat chick, there's a lot of ambivalence about the whole situation too. I don't want to hurt her feelings. And some times I even play along. And most all girls don't know about specific pua stuff so they are not complaining about that in their head. I would say the rationale behind what the sharkviewer says is generally true but he does not describe what is actually occurring in the girl's head in real time correctly. Getting a feel for the instincts and visceral reflexes going on in a girls head during a pickup is very useful and a key part of that learning is to realize that most all of those thought processes are snap judgements that are NOT backed by much or any reasoning. From an afc's point of view, it can seem like a girl is rejecting you for a lot of trivial little reasons. Trying to find out the rational reasons for that rejection will be insightful but only to a limited extent. Beyond logic and reasons there is visceral, animal reaction that is millenia old. After learning the rational reasons why an AFC was rejected, he should then strive to learn what a woman's instincts and psychological composition are. All the while, he should be working on his field game too of course. |

Good points. I thought it was useful as it makes you think that being NICE can create those thoughts or feelings inside a girl. In my view feelings are the signals (which are unconscious) and the thoughts are the interpretations of those feelings. It's also useful in the fact that it helps to break 'attraction' down a bit - you know if you're in a position that girls are just not attracted to you it may help to pinpoint the specific reason/s. I didn't think it was mean - sadly there are some girls/women who will fuck men around horrendously |
