I watched that show a while ago and it didn't really bother me to be honest,
it just reminded me how mainstream all of this has become.
Of course when things like this happen it's never good for the community,
but it has already been exposed, long ago and especially in america.
I first discovered the community about 2 years ago and not much has changed since then from what i can see. I'd say the majority of the girls in the UK wouldn't know what this is all about and how big it is (though im not sure about the states).
If people go around blatently using mysterys material and such, then they should expect to get found out, otherwise they wouldn't really know if you where a PUA, thats if they know what one is, and even if they did here a few comments about it and didn't know what people were talking about, it wouldn't be long before they forgot about it. The main problem exposing this is greed, everybody wants to make money from it and take their piece of the pie, they market their books and even worse, show their video's. The main people who are exposing it are the people from the community itself. With this happening it just means that you'll have to learn the basics and then stay away from the over-used canned material and come up with their own or non at all, also trying not make approaches very obvious, which is something you want to try and avoid most of the time anyway (especially in bars and nightclubs).
