Last night Neil was in town at the Barnes & Noble in mira mesa (San Diego). He had his book signing for the newly published Emergency: This Book Will Save Your Life.
I ended up taking a picture with Cliff (of cliffslist), Steve P, and Neil's girlfriend (I never got her name).
I got a chance to talk to Style for a bit, but nothing really pertaining to"game" I assumed he gets those questions all the time, so I kept the chatter light... talked about atheism, the military, and survival skills.

Highlights of the night included:
> Style teaching the audience how to escape from handcuffs using only a bobby pin (it actually works, I'm willing to teach it for a fee)
.> Plans on future book projects and travels (I promised I wouldn't tell)
> A PUA asking Style if Mystery & Ross Jefferies were both falling off a cliff, who would he choose to save? In which Style replied "You must do great in the field, asking these impossible questions, but if I had to choose, I'd probably decide to jump instead."
> Steve P shaking my hand, and me almost cowering over (guy's somewhat intimidating)
> Style showing me a picture of him and his brother when they were kids (Sry Neil... but you still were one clowny looking KiD!!)
> Having Style sign a copy of his book to my brother "Dying is the most fun a guy can have without killing himself"
> Style saying Hollywood is supposedly going to start filming The Game this summer (with Russell Brand as Mystery). Nothing's confirmed; just rumormill.
> Me number closing a soccer mom MILF.
The night was short lived (the guys were going to a bar, but I had duty today and had to wake up at 4:30, plus a half hour drive).

I'm a pretty cool, natural, guy. But the most AFC thing I said the entire night happened after our conversation. Neil Strauss said "I really like your style man, I'll see you around."
I then said (I KID YOU NOT) "Your Style, that's your name, but you also like my style."
Neil Strauss: Exactly! Glad you got that...
HOLY SHIT I'm a dork. I said that.
Ahh well...we exchanged contact info and I wished him a safe flight to the UK.Game On.
