Looking for advice from the any of the PUA's out there or maybe even you sean....

I do parties all the time and I like this idea of pausing as you enter the room to make that first impression. But what is a good approach method after this? You've already made the first impression, there's not much room for time constraints, and generally in my situation, everyone is connected by just one or two deegrees of seperation and those people are in that room with you or the target. How do you open this target without giving the impression that you're interested is I guess what I'm asking.
