This is my favorit alpha male! watch this video and see how you should compose yourself with a "bully". The man in this video was trying to humiliate Tom but he was mature, confident, and he made the guy look like a fool!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C4UvvHMoZs This is how to handle your self. |

Ya Tom might be a little crazy, but who isn't? I thought that was awesome; he talked to that guy like a dad telling his child he was disappointed in him. Complete control. I'm pretty sure TC made that guy cry. I bet the reporter still feels bad about it! |

You know what would have been better? The guy who soaked Tom Cruise wasn't even supposed to be the person who did it. This is from a TV show over here (UK) called Balls Of Steel where they basically play pranks on the public or celebrities (or certain guys from the show Dirty Sanchez, who make Jackass look like pansies, inflict pain upon themselves) try to win over a studio audience in who had the biggest balls for whatever they did. The guy who did it was a producer on the show, the act was supposed to have been performed by a female comedian named Olivia Lee (quite hot actually) but she couldn't get over to America to do it, I forget why. Basically my point is, do you think Tom Cruise would have acted the same way if it had been a woman, i.e grabbing their arm and forcably holding them in place so he could say what he did. Many other celebrities have been made fun of on this show and non of them made a big deal about it, they just laughed and accepted it as a gag, personally I think Tom Cruise over-reacted with this. Though I'd like to point out, I'm not doubting the fact that he put that guy in his place non-violently, but even so I still think he over-reacted. |

It doesint matter what you would do....he spoke what was on his mind....ther are alot of guy who would have been mad but would have just laughed it off to look good in front of the camera. I respect Tom because as crazy as he might be he speaks his mind and people still love him for that. Plus I realy dont find that kinda of humor funny....The guy is wearing 5 grand worth of clothing, is all done up to go into the premier 100 million dollar film and you spray him with water? It might be funny to a group of highschool kids hanging out in ther mom basment. |

Totally man. The guy thought he was being so cool, clever, and dramatic. Tom calmly thought about the situation told him what's up. I think the especially impressive part is his quest for understanding. He doesn't need to cry about it, he doesn't care if other people don't like this need to find out about it. Indeed, he is composing himself very well here. |

That was a perfect AMOG. Notice the guy trying to walk off multiple times? The anaology of dad telling son he was disopointed was perfect. |

Looking at all of the comments, almost every single one of them are making fun of Tom. The description even calls him a jerk. He definitely overreacted. My only question is is everyone calling Tom a douche because they know his history, and he kind of is one? Or are they calling him a douche because they would've called anyone that regardless of who they were in that situation? If some no-namer was pranked by Tom Cruise that way, I'm sure everyone would be cheering the average Joe for standing up for himself, whereas they hate Tom for it. I guess it all boils down to whos the underdog. No one likes to see the little guy beaten. |

Thats the point though....Tom doesnt give a fuck. People like to follow and so of course every one thinks he was a dick but If it said "tom cruis is the man" people would prob say "wow he is so amazing!" lol People might make fun of him but Ther isint a women in the world who wouldent want to spend the night with him. |

Tom came off as a total prick, that tactic wouldn't have worked on a real man or a comedian. The TV show in question is shit. However, the squirty guy should have laughed in his face, and said 'yes I do think it's funny, especially because of your insane reaction'. Plus, I know a lot of girls who wouldn't touch him with yours. Maybe it's a UK/US thing, but we (UK) all think he's totally phony. |
