That was funny. How he does it is very simple (I know nothing about magic but I watched 2 or 3 times and noticed) watch just after puts the glass in the girls hand left hand he then takes her right hand with his left hand and as he's doing this, distracting her attention he attaches the fake spider to her left hand (holding the glass) using his right hand. Ok maybe the whole left and right hand thing was unneccersary but you get it lol. If you look close you can kinda see the fake spider in his hand as he puts it on her. |

Boo. I guarantee you he did not get laid after these takes. Magic can definitely be used as a DHV. But creeping them out with spiders and such will not bring out the emotions you want associated with yourself. |

I don't think he meant this as a DHV. I don't even think he's a PUA. I think he was just out to do magic tricks. |

Just joined! The reason why Paul and even other magicians like Derren have great rapport with women is because they are both gay! So no approach anxiety etc! |

I'm not a magician but I used magic now and then to make a girl go crazy. But sometimes I think it's too obvious and will make you look like you're trying too hard. The moment really has to be there (that is not: taking sponge balls to the club, a mistake I made a while ago ).

No, it's because they're both doing a skill that they've practiced over and over again. Derren is a self-proclaimed introvert, who gets awkward in social situations just like anyone else.The reason why Paul and even other magicians like Derren have great rapport with women is because they are both gay! So no approach anxiety etc! I don't think a barman isn't nervous around the women he serves because he's gay, it's because he's doing a job. |

If you want to take the spider theme one step forward there is a new magic/prank app that is just awesome for bar pickups. If you search Google Play or the App store for "Magic Spider" you will find it. It is a new presentation of Jim Pace's - The Web where a spider ends up on the back of the hand. It gets such good reactions and the girls will be laughing and talking about it for ages afterwards. It's a really goo ice breaker with an in built neg. |
