I hope this video hasn't been posted on here before...

What it illustrates is how very little what you say matter, and it highlights the importance of state when you go sarging: your mood, and thus your body language and tone of voice.

It is well worth a watch, as it is really enlightening.

This video just shows how stupid girls are. Just kidding had to say it lol. This is the second video i've watched from this show and i have to say that i can't trust it. Even tho i agree up to a point with what i've saw as they say in the video 'the media is setting stereotypes' and this was on tv. Does this mean i have to doubt it? Yes! Plus i just came from the gym and they were broadcasting similas show with this guy darren brown showing some extraordinary hypnosys skills again with random ppl and also demostrating photographic memory and hitting a guy without touching him. As i recall an year ago saw him again doing amazing pick pocket. I know I am a bit off topic but do you all see where am I getting at?

There was only one girl who wanted to go on a date with him from each video. The findings were just interpreted to show what they wanted to show.

They were not actually.

What they were doing in this series, is to recreate some prior scientific studies whilst trying to present them in a way that would be more palatable to the public.

Thus, the conclusions they came to in this video were actually based on established psychological research.

My mistake: happy group said they all liked him and one girl said that she didn't want to date him. Other group, didn't discuss if they liked him, but one girl said that she would go on a date with him. Non-comparable results here!

They didn't compare like with like and the sample size wasn't representative enough. Add in peer pressure to conform and what they're showing is a terrible set of data!

I have no objection to what the actual research showed, but that video does not amount to evidence.

Did anyone else notice the difference in lighting for the two videos, the upbeat one was very well lit, while the downbeat one was very dark. This would have a huge impact on how the person would be received. It has already been proven scientifically that the brighter the space the more friendly the person is towards any action of judgment taking place. Its a large factor that I think many overlook, but happens all over the place. Just by changing the lighting of a room you can change the attitude of everyone in it.
