Post subject:  I'm new here ppl!!!!!!!
What's up everybody?!! So I have known about the game for a long time, probably about 3 years now. But it hasn't been until the last month or so since ive tried applying it.

a little background on me
-21 yrs old....virgin....living at home...studying chemistry in college...live in MD right near DC (for those of u familiar with east coast US of A)...i HATE the approach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...ive never dated in my life before--did not even go to prom in high school...I would not say im in great shape but im not overweight (160 lbs)...about 5ft 6in...ppl say i look handsome but i dont know...i guess im a typical AFC but whats worse is that im clueless...i cant read a woman to save my life....i do have alot more to say in case any of u guys want to know more stuff cuz i DO have a very interesting life story so far...as far as what im looking for, i would like to find my wife and im not ashamed to say that to a bunch of ppl i dont know :D (Sorry guys it's the whole Catholic thing thats been drilled into my head---basically im not looking to sleep around, just if i have to) .....and i also want to be aware that the next giirl i see, or maybe one i already know can be my wife, so there ya go!!!

what is it particularly that you hate about the approach? is it fear of rejection? of not knowing what to say? you've got to help us help you.

There's nothing wrong with trying to find a long term relationship. From what I've seen in the Pick-Up community, those that are willing to help don't care what your goal is, as long as you obtain it. Hearing that you're happy because of what they said seems to be the reward they're looking for.

yes i do have a big fear of rejection and also i find it hard to continue a conversation...just in general with ppl when we are talking there will come a point in a conversation where it just stops and becomes awkward to talk....and i will just stand there waiting for something to say or just walk away

you're probably like I was back in the day. I feared rejection because I believed the worse in myself, and if a woman were to reject me it would confirm everything I feared. I also would build this target up to be my only hope at happiness. Putting her on the pedestal as it were.

I'm not sure where my shift in thinking began. there were many things that contributed to it. I had been contemplating suicide for a while before my dad died. His death put things into perspective as to how life's sacred and not worth bumming myself out over. Next I got into david De Angelo's stuff. Particularly "On Being a Man (That Naturally Attracts Women)" and "Deep Inner Game". I listened/watched to both multiple times. That helped me gain knowledge about not being a creep, learning that pulling your head out of your ass is the only way to start thinking clearly. And finally, getting a wingman to help me get out and put some of this into practice was pivotal in my learning, because what good is learning something if you never use it? the brain has a way of pruning anything you don't use, so going out is absolutely necessary to enforce it and make it part of your life.

to Slink182....yeah man like i said above the approach and continuing a conversation with a woman i just met is hard for me right now...I wouldn't say that i'm an unsocial guy, something happens when i talk to women that prevents me from succeeding...definitely interested in any help u have to offer
