Four years ago I saw a documentary on Channel 4 entitled 'The Rules of Seduction' which introduced the world of the pick up artist. It's strange how a half hour tv program can change the course of your life.
For six months I submerged myself into the art of seduction. I became friends with a highly motivated wingman and together we worked on our game in the pubs and clubs of our city (and the shopping malls I now call).
I was a complete noob to begin with but over time became more confident and in the summer of 2008 I met a girl and began a relationship. Three years later and I am still in this relationship today.
So why return now to these powerful skill sets? Quite simply I've got lazy. And I'm not happy with it. I no longer feel like an alpha male. Three years of sex whenever I want it has caused my social skills to diminish over time. I forget all my canned material and even some of the basic ideas and strategies of seduction.
One incident in particular brought this to light the other week. I was in a cocktail bar for someone's birthday and I didn't know many people. Lots of the chicks were 8+ and I tried to talk to them. But the conversations were painfully awkward and I really felt out of place. I realised I have literally forgotten how to DHV and be a fun charismatic guy. I want to change this, I want beautiful woman to be attracted to me.
There is another reason. I have recently graduated from university and in a month I will begin a new job. And I want to get ahead REALLY FAST. I want to more or less kick-start my career. So my focus is to be really charismatic, confident and come across as a powerful individual. Using the methods of the pick up arts are the only way I know how to achieve this!
So this is my line of attack:
-Reread the mystery method
-dig out all my openers and canned material and have a read over it
-Come up with new canned material that takes into account my experiences over the last 3 years
-Have a think about my identity and put it down on paper
-Delve back into the world of NLP (I know basic theories). I want to learn more about hypnotic suggestion, basically think Derren Brown only for seduction
-Go out into the field and just try stuff out
I am in a relationship so I'm not concerned with actual lays, I just want to once again be the alpha male of the group! And if I ever do break up with my gf I want to have a set of stills that I can rely on right away.
