| Post subject: | New to The Game in DC |
Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself. I discovered the concept of sarging about two months ago and have been studying my ass off ever since. I've always been totally inept around women and I'm tired of being a lonely lump who puts the F in AFC. Happily I lucked out in college and had a girlfriend for two years who had a very strong sex drive, so I'm no virgin. But since leaving school two years ago I've not only had no luck I haven't even tried (until now). I moved down to DC for work with no real social circle and had a very bad spell of lonely and despondent evenings where I would think longingly of all the beautiful people going out and having fun and hooking up and enjoying life. I wanted nothing more than to be able to seduce women and be happy with myself. I'm working on conquering some severe inner game issues. I've always had bad social anxiety, paranoia about others judging me, feeling I don't deserve success, that kind of thing. I took very bad care of myself for a long time and am only just starting to treat myself better. I'm feeling better since going out and studying for the past few weeks. I've made a lot of progress and now control my approach anxiety pretty well. But I have serious problems pushing further into the interaction and especially indicating my interest in the girl (I'm working on a dedicated post about this) and I know that deep down, I still don't feel like I don't deserve success. I'm not bold or risk-taking because I don't feel like I'm worthy of the payoff. But I'm trying my hardest to overcome this. I've become obsessed with learning the rules of the game and transforming myself, and I hope everyone on this forum will get to watch me grow into a confident, happy man with lots of women in his life. Happy to be here. Oh, and if anyone out there lives in The District or nearby hit me up! |
