Be prepared to carry the conversation further than just hi, if you don't have an idea of what your going to talk about before hand your shyness will come through and you'll freeze up. |

Welcome to your new life. I think hi is fine for day one. That way you won't have any extra anxiety. no need to win the whole battle in one day. My advice: 1. Do it only with women that are at least one level above what you would normally be able to pull. 2. Apply the three second rule. 3. Have fun, you are in for a big surprise! |

I consider myself pretty good at holding a conversation.I tend to talk in front of a mirror alot to practice negs and to have a look at my facial expressions while im talking.. My shyness is more about me comming up to the person rather than actually talking..Is there another way of losing that shyness besides just going up to people? |

nope...gotta do it. Just like in sports there is no better practice than a game time situation. Thats why I said u should use the three second rule...I doesn't allow you to think and become nervous. I tell myself the gambling mantra when I need motivation, "scared money don't make money" |

If you need to give yourself a # of girls to approach that's fine. Main thing is to gain from the experience. Don't get down on yourself when things don't go perfect every time. When I tried this same routine, sometimes my voice came out to squeaky or low, sometimes my timing was off or the girl completely ignored me. Other times I just didn't say anything at all. Don't worry about it, just keep going. Another piece of advice on girls walking toward you. I found that they are less likely to respond if you just say hi as they pass (call it inertia). You are going to have to try to make eye contact and give them a slight smile when they are about 10 ft away. Unfortunately this is going to require you to "sell out" early. Here in LA, the girls are kinda cold, and sometimes won't smile back at you even when you have made eye contact. This may happen to you, don't take it personal. |
