Hello,

My name is Steve and I am a 20 year old male living in the lovely country we call England. I used to be a very bubbly and trusting person, but recently have been slighty more closed off and depressive.

I have been directed to this forum by a friend who told me to give Pick-up a go to boost my self-esteem back up to it's previous levels.

I have no idea where to start and to be honest when I am out and about I tend to aire on the side of caution and not approach girls as I fear rejection and don't really know what to say.

I guess this forum will give me an idea of how to go about it all lets see how it goes.

I'm brand new too, and it can be a bit daunting all the stuff you've been told. Read the stickied posts- they've helped me quite a bit. Find a friend to go out with who's open to letting you try your thing (or even involved himself!) and then progress to solo. And most of all -ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE! Any experience is good experience!

Secondly fuck rejection, if this girl rejects you her loss, who gives a shit their is millions of girls and if she rejects you without knowing you, do you really want a girl like that anyway.... that is my mentallity on rejection, infact when i get rejected i have fun with it, some girl rejected me, so i asked her to marry me.... actually this has happened a few times, i find it funny... How do you get to this point, 1) go indirect, i did it i think 10 times (i think not sure if it is exact 10!) until i became confident in indirect, i was using the line "Do you know where starbucks is?", then i tryed direct once, (something like you are so freaking hot i want to fuck you right now! will work in certain situations.) and then just do direct more and more, ultimatly for me direct is now easy so i added the having fun element.... Honestly approaching is easy as counting from 1-10, once you do it a few times, just like counting or your alphabet as a child, it gives the illusion of difficulty to start with but once you have done it a few times its easy
