I'm Dave and I'd always done well with women until a car accident in 12/05 left me paralyzed from the waist down. My brother had a copy of Mystery's book and I read it and I saw PU as my way to regaining my ability with women. It wasn't that simple though. I learned the material but women continued to ignore me. I got angry, became self-loathing, caught a pathetic case of oneitis and dropped women and PU because I was too fucked up for it to work for me. Then 6 mon ago I moved from Philly to San Diego to attend "Project Walk". 2 wks before I left I got a nose job since it was badly broken in the car accident. Out here on the west coast things changed. I wasn't here a wk when I went in to get a haircut and came out with hot 19 yr old gf (I'm 31). Women in Ca generally don't seem to care as much if a guy is in a chair and right now I'm riding a wave where I can get every girl I meet. That coupled with the therapy proving effective in helping me regain sensory and motor function in my lower body has given me back my confidence and fun, outgoing personality that was shrouded for 4yrs. I do have an advantage over most guys because of my looks(although a disadvantage with the chair). I was always nice looking but the nose job made me handsome and I've always had style. I'm back with the right attitude now here to try and relearn/remember what I was taught. Like I said, I'm riding a wave right now but sooner or later it's gonna crash and I'm going to need to keep my confidence and sharpen my skills for when it does... |
