Hi, I'm 29, portuguese and am living in the north of europe SPAM. The most important thing, I'm here to talk about women with like-minded guys from all over the world and LEARN. I peeked into this forum before a couple of times, and I really must say that most guys here (frequent posters, judging by their post count) gave me an excellent impression by showing maturity and principles. I have to apologize for being mislead by the popular opinion that PUAs are guys without principles. Something that has even made me ashamed in the past for liking women this much, enjoying meeting them and conquering them. To make a long story short, it's time for me to come out of the closet as an APUA. After breaking up from a pretty long relantionship about 3 years ago, I did my best to overcome the pain... and thus began sarging like crazy. In retrospective, the breakup was actually good for me because it took women away from a pedestal in my eyes. I have then began working in my inner game, and have already had some results as it is, but I'm aware I definitely lack consistency. As I write this, I'm on my way out to buy "The game" (F-ing curious about it I am). I hope to feel part of the community and have A LOT of stories to share in the future. Cheers |

Welcome NorthernLatin and congrads to coming to the right place to talk about women with like minded guys from all over the world. I know this forum has a bunch of people from different places so we can share insights from a variety of different sources. At least you took the first step by looking at breaking up with your old girlfriend as a positive. There's always a negative and positive to every situation but as a PUA, it's always better to look at the positives and take the negatives as a lesson. The Game by Neil Strauss is an awesome book to start off with. I've told my cousins to read up on it so they can see and understand what being a PUA is all about. Lots of positive insights in the book. Looks like your on the right path, work the inner game which will show on your outer game. Get control of that inner AFC and you will be able to see the difference on your view of the world and the way you do things. |

I started reading it tonight! I'm quite surprised at the amount of things I read in it that I only became aware of in the last couple of years (avoiding compliments and string cat theory being the most notable). Does not go without saying, I adore the way Neil jests at his own insecurity. Really good book |
