First of all i would like to say a quick hello to all the guys on this forum and also give thanks to all of the pua's who have shared advice, wisdom, stories and all the other little pick up gems that help us amatuers progress our own game. So now that's out of the way, i'll cut a very long story short to give you some insight into where i stand - My wonderful, beautiful, most amazing girlfriend of nearly 3 years dumped me on thursday. (Haha, hows that for cutting a story down?) So anyway, i'm currently going through all the bullshit related to being dumped by your first propper long term girlfriend, who even though we had gotten to the stage of regular arguements, i still loved very much and was not ready for it to end. It's the same old story that i am sure most of you guys have either heard a hundred times or even experienced yourselves at some point in life. I said I wasnt ready for it to end and I meant that, however I should make you aware that I am more ready than I could have been! What i mean by that is: for entertainment and with the aim of developing more self confidence in general, i began reading various NLP books and such like. I also read The Game, The Natural art of Seduction and The Mystery Method. I can honestly say that I dread to think how I would have reacted to the heartbreak if I didn't already know about the community and feel a buzz from now being able to become a part of it. The pain that im feeling right now is currently being transformed into energy, energy that i can hopefully use to my advantage in the Game. Whilst remaining faithful to my ex, i was practicing opening sets and improving my conversational skills with a friend of mine who also wanted to improve his personality to become more attractive and out-going. We have only been out a couple of times but could instantly see changes in the reactions that we were getting from people and even got a couple of numbers (of course not that i would follow them through because of my loyalty to my lovely girlfriend!) So although i am a complete newbie, i have already taken a big step in overcoming anxiety. Fuck me, sorry about the length of all that. So much for keeping it brief!!! alrite man nd welcome to the game and the site...if your going to be serious about getting your game up you want to aim for going out 4 nites a week 4 hours a nite and open 3 sets an hour..have you read any of the books apart from the game..and btw when you get good at the game your GF wont know what hit her when she sees women wrapped around your arms.. Thanks for the welcome Mr.A and I intend to hit this shit as hard as i can. I have read The Game, The natural art of seduction, and The Mystery Method so far and i already have Double your Dating as an ebook to get stuck into. Plus these forums and youtube seem to be goldmines! Im going to try and balance the theory side of it all with the practical and do equal parts of both. Well, right now i must admit i'm hitting the theory harder than the practical just as a way to keep her out of my head. It's all good though, I already have a good wing who has been a top class mate for a long time so we are both in this together, and we are both keen as f***! Haha, we even went and bought folders and notepads and all that today. We each wrote lists of our goals and aims etc and are going to get ourselves into action as of next week. Thanks again dude!
