Post subject:  Just found out about the community-need some help

I just found out about this community a week ago. I was in the book store and a book caught my eye. I picked up The Game by Neil Strauss. I had never heard about him or this community. I'm about half way through it right now. This is exactly what I need.

I come in contact with hot chicks all the time, but I'm not doing nearly as well as I'd like to be doing. Women have told me that I'm good looking. And I workout, so I keep myself in shape. But I'm not the man in social gatherings, and it is hit and miss with women, more misses than hits. Reading The Game is showing me where I am going wrong.

I am a photographer, and I started shooting models about a year ago. I have been a sports photographer for the past eight years. But I didn't start shooting models until a year ago. I was in a long term relationship with a chick from high school... which was really stupid on my part. I left her two years ago. So at the age of 29 I had to figure out the dating game, which I hadn't ever been a part of as an adult. I've figured out a number of things over the past two years, but I'm still not pulling like I would like to. And the relationships don't seem to go very far. Now that I'm single I decided to start shooting models, and I've gotten really good at it. I've shot some really hot chicks... who I didn't get anything from. I can get in contact with a hot chick at anytime, but it's not going anywhere. Not too long ago I shot a calendar for a car company that customizes high end cars. I shot 12 different models on $100K+ cars, but I didn't get
any action from any of them.

I've found that The Game is more of an introduction of the community. It's not an instruction manual like I thought it would be. So my question is what should I read next? I'm taking notes as I go and I'm looking up the people and the concepts that Strauss brings up. He doesn't really go into detail much, which is what I need.

What books have you guys read, and what would you recommend? I'm thinking about picking up Mystery's book next. I saw Ross Jeffries book on Amazon, but one reviewer said that he didn't give a lot of info so that he could sell more products. Strauss talks about a number of books that he read, and a number of things that he learned to become a PUA. So what should I go out and pick up? Has Strauss written a book that is more of an instruction manual?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I hope to be a member of the community for a long time. I wish I have found out about this a while ago.
