Female from Texas here looking to apply the PUA techniques to my own life. Trying to improve my abilities with guys. I realize that not all the tips here will apply directly but still want to learn because I'm suck at talking to men. Currently talking to a guy who I've known for years and we've both had a crush on each other since we met. Feel like I'm doing something wrong. Maybe showing too much interest? |

Is there required reading that I should go check out, such as a list of the acronyms? Also see a lot of references to certain techniques, where do I familiarize myself with that? |

The best thing to do about getting better guys is by being a better woman. Remember that a man wants a woman and not another man which is kinda a big issue with women now a days because prior to women in the past women who just ya know stayed at home and were house wifes, and now women are competing with men in business and thats fine out in the real world but men dont want to compete with their women when it comes to relationships. So my advise to you is try to be a better women. how to be a better women you ask? try thinking like a guy, try to think how does he feel about this situation and what does he value and how can I make that happen. |

This is cool. Any particular type of guy your looking for? Do you like PUAs? Have you read 'the rules'? I hate that book and didn't understand it at first, but maybe there is something that only a woman will understand. There is also 'the real rules' by Barbara De Angelis. http://therulesbook.com/. Those books seemed like they were all about how to cock block yourself while keeping guys around. It seems like what you want is a manual of how to seduce a man and carefully balance the madonna-whore complex that a lot of guys get. 'The art of Seduction' by Robert Greene has case studies about various women and how they seduced men through out history. http://www.winggirlmethod.com Marni has been in the game for a long time, you might learn something from her. I will give you the same advice that was given to me, work on your physical appearance and personality. Be happy and have fun all the time. I know it's cliche but since men tend to lead you need to lure. Once you have them hooked you can probably talk to them in a way that reassures them. I also know from experience that status is important to study. Women with status tend to be desirable. http://www.artofmanliness.com/2015/09/0 ... roduction/ See if you can't translate that into something useful. So your comment about your friend is a classic sign of oneitis. I would study some techniques and realize that there are an abundance of men out there that really know how to lead a relationship. Are you going to start leaving pickup artist material around for your friend to read or what? Guys can be thick sometimes. I myself have been on a couple stealth dates where the girl didn't tell me it was a date. Just ask him, "Hey this sort of feels like a date." If he agrees, then congratulations, if he doesn't then he is either in shock or just not that into you. Don't worry at that point because there are new guys out there. A shot in the dark here, but your next step might be to practice making guys feel comfortable so that they will ask you out. |
