I will give you the same advice that was given to me, work on your physical appearance and personality. Be happy and have fun all the time. I know it's cliche but since men tend to lead you need to lure. Once you have them hooked you can probably talk to them in a way that reassures them. I also know from experience that status is important to study. Women with status tend to be desirable.

Guys can be thick sometimes. I myself have been on a couple stealth dates where the girl didn't tell me it was a date. Just ask him, "Hey this sort of feels like a date."
