Post subject:  Introduction - time for a change

Hello,

I am really excited to be a part of this forum and learn from others, while also trying to regain my abilities with women. First a little background.

I am a 31 year old attorney living in a VERY small town in the South. I have always had pretty decent luck with women and have slept with probably 60+. I did very good with women in high school and college and continue to have occasionally hot streaks. However, I have noticed in recent years that many of the girls I now desire either (1) reject me or (2) i hesitate and don't pursue them hard enough (likely for fear of rejection). When a girl shows me IOIs i am bulletproof and can totally seal the deal. However, if i instigate the interests, it seems to always get shot down.

I am not god's gift to women, but i am average-to-above-average-looking. I am 6'1 with, brown hair, green eyes and dark skin and weight about 230 (wouldn't hurt me to drop a few pounds). I dress very well and am a relatively good conversationalist.

These days, I feel as if i have a psychological block to going after HB 8-10's. Additionally, living in such a small town i am finding it very difficult to meet women socially. Many of the attractive girls in my geographical area are 7-10 years younger than me, and i have never really done well with younger women.

Since there is very little social life here, I have found myself relying a lot on Facebook to meet women, often adding totally random cuties than i have a lot of mutual friends. Usually, once they confirm my request, i send (most of them) a message a few days later and many times i get nothing in return. My facebook profile appears impressive (i think) but i am just having a hard time and need some guidance and a boost of confidence.

Maybe you're intimidating them?
Do you come across as arrogant? Bossy? Boastful?

What was the difference between you in college and you now?

What's keeping you from going after women your age? Perhaps women your age can get the vibe that you are interested in flings, so they stay away?

What kind of messages do you send them?

Is your profile a carbon copy of your resume?

I have had a few girls tell me that I am intimidating but I don't really know what I do to make them feel that way. I live in a pretty poor community, so the fact that I'm at attorney may be enoug itself to intimidate.

My fb profile is pretty basic. Lots of pictures of me and friends, but I generally don't post a whole lot on there cause I think status updates are mostly stupid.

The main difference in college and now (besides gaining 15 pounds) is that I just can't 'click' or 'break the ice' like I once could. In college is was more arrogant and would constantly bust girls balls, but I could still have a conversation with them too.

I have just lost of ability to break the ice with girls I am interested in. If I make the first move to talk, it seems to always fail these days.

My fb message are pretty basic (maybe that's the problem). I just say hey what up or something to that effected. If they respond then I go into some cocky/funny stuff and try to get their number ASAP.

I need help with ice breakers to get girls to let down their shield whether on fb or face to face cause somewhere I lost that ability and I think it's all mental.

Stop sending out generic messages.

Maybe try some attorney jokes.
