haha cheif i am an absolute sucker for the negs!
ah this is so good, 1 place where guys can be themselves without having to try and be all sweet and gentlemanly...talking about connections and sparks..what is with that?! maybe you've all watched far too many romantic movies?..

sorry chIEf, was just reading a diff post and got my mind mixed up slightly.
and yeah, mostly get picked up at bars and clubs, at university, lectures and the cafe and stuff..but i can never really tell if i am getting picked up in the day time, it must be so hard for PUAs, or maybe not?
If some1 randomly makes conversation with me when im shopping or something, ill be abit wierded out like "do i know you?" it always seems so random.. i really dont want to be one of those people, should just be friendly back, but it really catches you off guard. I have never given my number out to a random i have met in the mall or park or anything, conversation never seems to get that far..
i'm trying to think of lines that have worked well, but the only lines that i remmeber to be good, were said by guys that i was attracted to anyway, so they could have said anythinggg and it would have worked!
i'm all for the cocky attitude, but i guess if you are trying to shoot way above your league, you should pretend to be abit humble, as if its something you neverr do, but they are just soo prettyy that u cudnt help urself.. girls dig that whole making them feel special crap. I know a few really hot girls who have got with guys who were like 3/10, cause they thought like "oh he will apreciate me so much unlike *last hot guy she got with* cos im so hot, i bet he never gets girls like me" .. i know a few ugly guys who play on this and get hot girls all the time, just by acting all nervous and overhwelmed by their beauty..
its a horrific approach really, and i would never ever endorse it but you would be suprised, if you can completely suffocate your pride lol and pick the right girl, you can score that easily with some1 way out of ur league.

I first became interested in learning about this whole scene after reading "the game" by neil strauss, originally to be one step ahead of the game..sorry!
I get approached by men very regularly, and have often recommended they read "the game" because its sad to see perfectly good men go to waste because they are so bad at approaching women and come across as boring and typical..another man saying the same thing..
I hear about guys asking for advice on the same issues, and getting given all the wrong answers from other guys..so here i have found a forum where I might be able to let guys know a little more about what we are really thinking, and hopefully help someone out! I also write a column for men and am thinking about turning it into a book!
The main thing i would think that many guys don't realise is how completely similair guys and women are..do NOT put the pussy on a pedastal! Girls just often feel they have to play dumb, and be demure and oblivious to your advances. We are very aware (and often too cynical) about what you want. The very likelyhood is that we want it too. Just need to make you feel like you have worked for it..cause unfortunately that is the way society works!

Um...perhaps you should look into some of what the PUA teachings are before you start giving any advice on this forum. We run things a little differently than what the advice of most women is.
The mindset that you may be imposing on the students of the pickup arts maybe severely detrimental to their development, so that's why I'm saying that.
For example, you believe in things like "leagues," and that it's possible to be "out of someone's league."
That's a very very very big no no. According to us PUAs, "leagues" are self-restricting illusions that create limiting beliefs.
If you've only read The Game, check out The Venusian Arts Handbook, too, at least.

I will also post "field reports" or succesfull/unsuccesfull attempts of approaches, when they are spectacularly good or spectacularly bad! Girls always discuss these, so i will have many to pick from out of my own and my friends experiences..

Welcome, its always nice to have a female on the board. Zip can only take so many pms. So where do guys approach you most of the time? Bars? Mall? Park? Is there any one line that worked really well on you where you thought "wow this guy has balls?"

Cool. It is always interesting to have a female POV as long as it is not to negative. And I like it that you actually encourage guys to read the game. Though i have to agree with Chief that your advice kinda seems wrong. I am also new around here btw.

Women on this forum are like those mansion houses durring halloween; they are rare to find but are great to come across. They always give out giant delicious treats and there isn't a person I know that passes up on the opportunity to ring the doorbell and peek inside. It is always great to get more females here to help everyone out. I mean, you can't get any closer to the source. But make sure you are well aware of the actual methodology and teachings before handing out these candy bars (of information). We have no mothers to ensure they aren't posionous.
