What's up guys? I've been lurking for a bit with one foot in and one foot out of the PUA community, but I'm making a commitment and officially joining up. So I have a pretty similar story to most guys. I've had some success with girls, but not much. Never been laid. I have trouble looking girls in the eyes, blushing too much, saying the wrong thing, etc. Worst of all though is that I don't even have the nerve to approach most times. I'm really into self-improvement though and always have several projects going around. Recently I put on 20lbs of muscle, moved up from 120lbs to 140lbs, and really changed the whole way I look. I'm not done yet since I love bodybuilding, but the good thing is that I got to see a dramatic, tangible, change take place over a few months, which makes me think that I can change my whole social game too. The other half of this is that I also work in politics and a,min law school, so I'm finding that it would be really beneficial if I could talk my way past people and broker the deals that I want Most of all what I want out of this is increased self-confidence. When I look in the mirror and see the physical changes I've made, I don't see a different person--I see a better version of myself. When people interact with me I want them to see a better version of me too! I'm based a little north of Boston and would be down to go sarging or meet up and chat with people about PUA life. |
