How's it going everyone? It's been years since I've dwelled on forums, and even longer since I was single (10). I am 34 and currently going through a divorce. It's been challenging returning to the single scene (we separated about 3 months ago), and made harder since we have two children together. Until about 3 weeks ago I had no idea this community even existed. On a whim I Googled "books on how to improve your game with women" and of course "The Game" by Neil Strauss popped up. I was skeptical, but read countless solid reviews and references. I figured I would check it out. I suppose it may sound strange, but I already feel a shift since reading it. I've yet to develop patterns, memorize openers, etc., but just peacocking up a bit, wearing a smile, re-orienting how I view myself and self worth, and (yes) throwing out some negs and kino and I've noticed a world of difference. Just a quick bit of background on me: I don't know that I would say I was ever bad with women. Prior to committing with my eventual wife at 25, my score was 14--and that was interspersed with several longterm relationships. That said, I never felt like I was able to live up to my potential; like many guys, I credited external factors (wealth, circumstance, etc.) for why other guys had better game. I'm determined to do it right this time around. My goal is simple: to meet as many awesome women as I can before I determine who is the right one (the truly right one) for me, no longer how long that takes (I'm in no rush!). In the process I'm looking to have fun, meet friends in this new world, and enjoy life as much as possible. So yeah, I'm looking to get out on the scene and find some wings, and maybe attend some workshops. If there is a lair you recommend in Tampa, I welcome it! -Charisma81 |
