Hello fellow gents, As the title suggests, I am a 24 year born and raised in Ecuador - South America. I got into the game by searching different pick up lines and looking at different videos. I always thought that these techniques only worked with women from the states, since I have a pretty bad habit of generalizing people based on where they are from. I used a couple of lines to initiate conversation, and then some of the games that people recomended playing in the clubs. To my surprise, a lot of them worked and this got me more interested in pick-up. I just read Models - and highly recommend it to anyone. My only experience with pick up has been the book and these forums, so around 2-3 weeks. In Ecuador I have little trouble picking up girls, talking to them, and taking them out on dates. I would have say that this is mainly due to my looks - which I have been complimented my whole life. However, my looks only take me so far and I realise that my inner game is weak. My main struggle is escalating things, getting more intimate, and taking things to the next level. I am considered the "nice guy' and I have a tremendous respect for women. In my mind (and I am working to correct this) if the girl does not take it to the next step then I feel like I am doing something she doesn't want or is against. - And that is why I am here. I want to work on my confidence, attract hotter girls, and improve my communication skills. I dedicate a large part of my time to my family (parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc..) my job, and my friends. Since my family is my priority I have set aside some of my passions so sometimes I feel like I have little to talk about with women as I have not pursued other hobbies and interests. Nice to be part of the community, here to serve and to learn. |

Welcome to the forum! I've visited Colombia and have family there and in Ecuador and love gaming there. You're right that looks can only get you so far. Once you start taking more action and learning from your experiences, you'll gain more confidence, your inner game will improve, and you'll start understanding the right way to take things further and your results will improve. Feel free to ask any questions and I look forward to hearing more from you. |
