Welcome to the community. I love Vienna, a great city to meet girls. If you're new, here's a guideline you can follow in your development with becoming better with women: Step #1: Start Here: Start with your ability to approach a woman and engage her in a conversation. This make take some time as approach anxiety is something majority of guys feel. If that's the case with you, deal with it first. Don't try to learn advanced pick up techniques until you can comfortably start a conversation with a girl. Step #2: Get Good At Talking With Girls After you can start a conversation, learn to be a great, interesting conversationalist. Most guys are deluded and think that they can be good with women without having good people skills. Books like "How to win friends and influence people" are a great start. Step #3: Get Good At Creating Attraction With Girls Women are attracted to certain things in guys, and it's not money or good looks. Those things can help, but they are not the determining factor on whether or not a girl will like you. The way you create attraction is mainly by teasing a girl and making her FEEL something. There's more to attraction, I would recommend you rent a season of Sex and the City and just watch how girls talk, what they find attractive about a guy, how they talk about sex etc. It will change your view on women and probably make you more relaxed around them because you'll understand how they think. Step #4: Learn to LEAD things to the next level. This is about getting to the next level with a girl. You approached her, talked with her, got some attraction going...now it's time to either take her number, or ask her out, or if you're out already, to give her a kiss. Most guys have a problem with escalating because A) They're afraid of a woman's reaction B) They don't know what to do So deal with any fear that comes up, and mainly learn how to ask for her number, how to ask her out and how to go for a kiss. That's a blueprint for success, and an outline of what you should be focusing on. Things to avoid: Avoid the shiny object syndrome, where you're jumping from one video to another, from one technique to another. Avoid excess reading of books on pickup or women mind. If you get too much info, that will work against you as you'll be confused about what to do next. Don't try to be 40 before you're 40. Meaning, don't try to learn about attraction until you can comfortably approach a woman. Don't learn about how to get a date until you can keep the convo going for at least 5min without getting stuck on what to say next. Things to do: > Take 1 idea, and put it into action. Take 1 action a day, and this will keep the paralysis of analysis away. >Keep things simple and don't make it complex. Thing is, success with women is easy, but we make it so complex that over time it becomes hard. Ty very much for the responses. I tried to tackle my AA but then something else kicks in...I have never kissed a girl, not to mention other stuff. |
