Hey,
I'm 22 in the tacoma, wa. I was introduced to the game about a year ago, and got a gf soon after so I never really learned much. After breaking it off I realize I need to work on pua skills to improve my social skills. I feel like I can hold a conversation pretty well, but I freeze up whenever I try to approach a beautiful women. It's really frustrating.

Welcome man.

It helps to remember that they are human.

They have insecurities.

They think you won't like a, b, or c about them.

They are flattered when you talk to them.

They are one of many and they realize this.

Beauty is common.

Is she a cool girl?---THAT is what you are there to find out when you speak with her.

^ sounds about right

ask questions but dont interview her, girls like guys who respond to their answers but being interested. not to tell her all about yourself, that is just qualifying yourself too much. say crap like "i totally understand" or "that makes sense" or "i could see that" haha

try that ;)

Thanks for the tips, step one for would be getting over my anxiety. I'm gonna try approaching new people each day.

So I hope this thread isn't dead. :) I'm 21 and new to the PUA game I was hoping to find a wing man or woman that could give me pointers on how to get rid of my aa.

You can get rid of your approach anxiety just when you start to take action mate, there is no other way :D
For sure if you find a wing is 10 times better cause you push each other to improve.

Till you don't have a wing, approach not just girls but people in general. Start to talk even when you don't feel to talk. You have to get in a talkative mode and change the bad habits you had till now.

If you suffer from approach anxiety, it means that you've been using bad behaviours till now, and you can't expect to have different results doing over and over the same thing.
Take the commitment to take action and change your situation.

Thanks mate I plan on going out tomorrow! It's hard to not be discouraged when you approach someone (especially a beautiful woman) and they totally ignore you. :/ never the less I'll just keep at it. What are some good openers? I find that at a party I can flirt with woman easier because I know its a socially acceptable setting to hit on woman but during the day scares the crap out of me.

THe reason it is scaring you is simply because you are telling yourself 'I AM ABOUT TO HIT ON A WOMAN'

Let me ask you this:

IS IT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE TO TALK TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND WHEN THE TWO OF YOU ARE IN PUBLIC?

If you answered yes to that question, then you need to apply that mind state to your life when you are out "in the field" during the day.

You talk to the girl like you already know her. She picks up on it. You move from there.

You aren't "approaching some goddess." You're simply speaking to another human.

Frame it that way in ur mind.
