I was interested in pick up from the moment I saw VH1's The Pick Up Artist. I read Style's The Game and could not put the book down! Like a lot of AFCs, I did a LOT of reading on the subject but put almost none of it into practice. I put the game down for a long time to work on myself; to be more secure and grounded in who I am. I was in a series of LTRs that were unfulfilling and ultimately broke each one off.
Recently I decided I'm tired of waiting for the "right time" to have the things in life that I want. I quit my job, sold all my stuff, and moved abroad. I prefer not to say where for now
It's enough to say they speak pretty good English here.I picked up the game again and am actually using the techniques for the first time. The results speak for themselves! I am still learning but I apply whatever I can to improve my game. I would consider my style to be a mix of PUA material and natural game. There is something to be said for my intuitions, but they definitely need fine tuning!
