Hello, everyone! I'm SuperMan09, living in Walnut, CA (20 miles east of downtown LA). I got into "the game" by reading the book by Neil Strauss about a year ago. I come from the Reddit online community so much of what I know is very basic stuff, like looking out for IOIs, how I carry myself, etc. I consider myself somewhat socially adept; I know how to carry a conversation, make good eye contact, and have a good sense of humor. Approach anxiety is what kills me though. But it's something that I've been working on and recently been improving. In the past 2 weeks, I've started approaching more people in general, as a way to ease in to approaching girls I'm interested in, but have also approached a handful of girls. No number close yet, but each encounter has been relatively pleasant, and I'm pretty sure I at least made the girl feel good about herself for a moment.

As far as I go, I'm a 22 year old engineering student who likes to go the gym, go on hikes, watch/play soccer, listen to house music, go out drinking with my friends/coworkers, go to music festivals, and generally have a good time. As far as my "experience" goes, my background consists of a 5 year relationship from age 16-21 (I know); afterwards, a couple numbers, one lay (approach to f-close that same day), and a date. I feel content with this, as I feel like I have a decent starter's toolkit to work with.
Since I started learning about seduction, I have been working primarily on my inner game, and that has improved a lot since I've started. Since I feel pretty good about my inner game I thought that learning the more "technical aspects" about seduction wouldn't hurt. So right now my goal is to address my approach anxiety because it's what is holding back. Long term goal: take the stereotype that all engineering students are socially awkward introverts and take a shit on it. Not that it really matters anyway though haha.

I'm a very open and honest person and very accepting of criticism, so I really look forward to reading your posts and learning a lot from this community. :D

Welcome to the forums man! I also came from a "geeky" background as an IT professional so I can relate haha. I used to have a lot of approach anxiety until I learned to just be present and not think about any future outcome. I then a lot of warm up approaches to build momentum and I re-framed it as learning experience and had a curious and growth mindset. It became a lot more fun and I learned a lot quicker and got better faster. Feel free to ask around for any more questions. Looking forward to hearing some cool stories.
