I'm 27 years old and I'm from Portugal and as the title says I choose to take the red pill!
During my teens I was very shy and to make it worse I had some serious self-image issues. I went to the point of thinking that no girl desired me and even considered suicide (so glad I didn't).
When I was 17 years old I had this huuuuge oneitis for a friend of our social group, she was a 7.5 HB (more or less) with a very amazing personality. I was completely obsessed!
I thought she was out of my league and I wouldn't ever stand a chance with her. However one day at a party I got so drunk and all my insecurities vanished, for the first time I was acting confident. The result was one night stand with a 6.5 HB (crazy wild sex
) and to make things better my crush saw it and couldn't hide her jealously and she went crazy about me. Some months after she become my girlfriend and I took her virginity.Almost 10 years later she dumped me. Yep, I've been dating her all this time. She dumped me 2 months ago, at first I was completely devastated. What confused me the most was I did everything for her in the last year because I was feeling she was losing attraction, I said I love her more, did more for her, etc, etc... hell it didn't work!
I found out about PUA material some weeks after.
At first I immediately assumed the PUA community were a bunch of delusional sexually frustrated suckers. Despite my skepticism I read some pages of the Mystery Method. I was surprised! Mostly because PUA material focused in evolutionary psychology, being a analytical thinker I become very interested on it. It all makes sense now. I read some material of Corey Wayne, Heartiste and Rationale Male. I was blown away, this guys are actually smart!
I started implementing some PUA habits on my life and already saw some positive changes
I really have this burning desire to have success with women. I don't want it, I NEED IT. I acknowledge I have still much to learn.
For example I still can't approach girls without being completely drunk, I still have many self-limiting beliefs, etc... But I'm determined to beat them all.
Anyway what I like most about PUA is the skills for getting women can even be applied in another aspects of your life, like your job, build new social connections and so on. It's a win win situation.
