Hey guys, I am green as grass, but quite intrigued by this whole cmmunity. I am a MMA fighter out of Christiansburg Virginia, I am used to being the AMOG everywhere I go... but now all I want to do is learn the community, the game, everything! Is there any PUA's here in VA? |

And you would thin being a MMA you would get all the women no problem. Beautiful Hot women love MMA. I hardly see a girl who is not attractive like MMA. One you already got alot of DHV going for you. Two your body is in shape. Three they will defiently feel safe around you. Sounds to me all you got to do is get social! Have fun and meet women. I would love to have another fighter around me to have my back. In my close group of friends I am the muscle. Welcome to the forum though. Just curious. How long you been MMA and What style are you? I been thinking about doing MMA on the side in my free time because I already know the basic ground fighting skills and some advance submissions. |

I have been fighting actively now for 2 years. Before I began, I trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 3 years, then decided I was better suited for stand-up. So I decided to learn muay thai. It was the best decision I could have made, and I now rival any MMA fighter in the world in terms of punching power. But you are right, girls are attracted to the idea, but not the sport itself. It is almost too real for them. And being a fighter requires you to dedicate every second to becoming better. Because, let's face it, that is what my opponants are doing. My advice to you, if you are serious about fighting, don't. To learn it is one thing, but to actually compete takes an enormous toll on everything and everyone around you. But I am taking a little break from the fight game, I want to learn the Pick-up Game. I can get alot of chicks based on my MMA, true, but I want to experiance a level of social intigration beyond that of a normal guy. I want to have the convdence I carry into the ring, into a conversation with a HB10. But I'm a visiual person, and I learn by example, thus the reason I need a Pro to show me the ropes... who knows, in return I could teach them my game! |

I already like the name man.. it's a word to live by and take controll of. All it really takes is that competitive energy the looks, and the same-old same-old confidence, and you'll be dominating like a pro. Just pick up on some of the forum's opens and the such, and most else will probably come naturally for ya. Now train hard n'make those goals cuz the women are your next big match. |

I am not talking about getting deeply into. My town holds MMA fights like every month or two. Just enter win and thats it. I would never go pro or anything. I just like to do it because its fun. |

Welcome bro. You'll find that MMA and PUA have a lot in common. Like all endeavors worthwhile, PUA requires discipline and courage. An MMA background gives you a leg up there. But if you are already getting girls without the help of specific PUA tactics, you have what is called Natural Game and don't really need to study the predefined structural approach to pickup. P.S. Yeah, having the bod does do wonders for initial attraction. I'm breaking out all the one-size-too-small tshirts...hope I don't look gay. |

I appreciate all the advice, I really do. Yes getting girls is on my list of "to-do's" (pun deffinately intended) however that is just a little part of why this whole idea interests me. It's a new challenge, like the last unexplored territory some would say. I want to make myself a better person, and this is just an avenue to persue; a wonderful Challenge for myself. Please keep all the advice coming guys, I really appreciate it. |
