Post subject:  Totally New, where do I start???

Hello!

I Hope you all have had a great start to 2015!

I'm fairly new to the community. I feel that I have a good social life, confident, have a successful career and love my independence. I'm on here to be more successful with women which is an area that I would like to improve in my life. There seems to be so much material out there! Could anybody tell me where to start? Could anybody recommend some good videos and or books that I should read? I have a copy of the stylelife challenge but I have been told this is now outdated?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Why not start with a newbie mission?

It's fine and dandy to read up, watch videos and know the theory... but there's no substitute for getting out there and jumping right in.

Hey!

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll jump into the newbie mission straight away as well as reading some of the books you have listed :-). I'm from Wolves UK.

Out of interest what bought you guys to this website? What made you join the community?

what got me into the whole pick up and wanting to get better with women is the fact that im a complete average frustrated chump that need to change big time.

that link is my thread that i put up that describes why i got into this and the reason why i came here. it basically says.

Hey, I'm new to this whole thing. all my life i have been a walkover, needy, seeking validation of others chode. i admit i am an average frustrated chode and this needs to change so im here to seek help and advice to be a better version of me. i have never been good with women. i have let them walk all over me, i have let them use me because i like a girl so much that i would simply do anything for them and they took advantage of me for that. i got upset because i was friends with a girl i liked for so long and they just go with a friend of mine in just minuets. i never new how to handle when an old friend decided to use me to make them look better in front of women. i am always told to lay off a girl because a friend like her when ive liked her for so long and ive never told anyone. also i have been friendzoned so many times i have lost count as ive always been the nice guy or the too nice guy.

Chris

I'm in the same boat as you buddy. I travel a lot due to work so I'd like to be able to close girls on my first night out in wherever I am working so there's no messing about setting in the ground work if you catch my drift.

My sticking point currently is not having anyone to game with, I'm debating going at it alone but surely that would hinder me massively. I don't think I could open a two set on my own just yet.
