I'm a socially awkward gay guy, which probably makes you wonder why I'd frequent a forum such as this one. Well, recently I read an article about a gay guy who took a PUA course and found the techniques taught worked just as well on gay men as they do on women (actually, you can escalate faster with guys than you can with women). It makes perfect sense, so I thought I'd give it a try. That's how I got into the game.

I'm 30 years old, located in Hawaii.

So, about a week ago I started reading up on PUA tactics and studying some youtube videos. Last night I went out, no wing man, to test out what I had learned. I've really only learned some basic techniques, and as someone who is slightly overweight and really not good in social situations, I was really unsure how it would work out.

Luckily, it worked out really well. I used the three second rule, and just started approaching people at the bar with whatever line I thought would work. I built my value in the club by getting random people to hang around me, and played one off the other until I got to the ones I wanted. I used the "thumb war" scam to make out with tons of guys in the club.

The best part is, that I went home with not one, but two guys. They were both about 7/10 on the hotness scale, but there were two of them, so I'm calling it a 14/10. If my calculations are correct, this is even better than fucking a 10.

Anyway, this has me very eager to learn more and hone my skills. PUA techniques are THE BOMB, and I'm very confident that the more I learn, the better I'll get. Now that I can feel confident going to the clubs alone, I'll go quite frequently. I'm very eager to learn more keno techniques as well as other escalation techniques. I hope my gayness doesn't creep you guys out, but I'm really hoping to learn more about PUA techniques.

Welcome to the forum!

We have some female members as well... It's not as strange as you think ;)

There are aspects of pickup which are useful in any situation - not just when trying to get a date/girl/guy/whatever...

Inner game and confidence, knowing your worth, and knowing how to read and react to body language and comments/questions from other people. Knowing how to ask people out properly to tip the odds in your favor... Anyway, I could go on.

Regardless, welcome! Questions? Just ask.

LOL - I know. A gay dude... He thought it was strange to frequent a forum like this... I was only saying we have a variety of characters here - including guys, girls and apparently at least one gay guy :)

So I actually have a question that I'm not sure to post, so I'll post it here and maybe someone can point in the right direction on it.

I'm all about demonstrating that I'm a high value guy. I'm getting better at doing that non verbally, and surrounding myself with people at the club and stuff. One area I'm not sure how to navigate is discussion of my career, which inevitably comes up in conversation. I'm a physician. When I tell people this, its kind of like dropping a bomb on the conversation, and I've had it blow up in my face on occasion by people saying, "Oh you just brought that up so you could brag" or "Oh, you think I'm going to sleep with you because you're a doctor?"

My solution right now is to try to get them to find out in a way that doesn't look like I'm volunteering the information. But here's the deal: I actually want them to find out because my career boosts me up a couple of points in market value. But I need to tread carefully. Does anyone have any advice or resources about how to handle this in a way that helps my game?

Not sure if this would have the same effect with gay dudes like it does with women, but women love mystery. So if you said something to the effect of "I'm in the medical field" it could keep them wondering.

On the other hand, you said you actually want them to find out. You could still use "I'm in the medical field" and then when they probe you could tell them what it is. Then it wouldn't seem like you were just blatantly coming out with it.
