Nice to meet all of you. This is my first posting on this forum. I hope I can help some guys and also find other cool guys my age to hang with.
My name is Derek and I live in Calgary, Canada. I'm an professional gentleman (43) that has been doing pickup for almost 15 years now. I work in IT and am also pursuing my MBA at night. I take PUA very seriously and professionally.
My goal in joining this forum is to meet other successful, optimistic men and collaborate our ideas about life and success and how to achieve our goals of meeting the right girl. Myself, my goal is to meet a quality lady for love, and for a HOT relationship that has a STRONG emotional connection that can be felt.
I have tried many game styles, and found that 99% of them are childish, weak, and often harmful; tactics that focus more on light front end game...negs, collecting #s, etc. Not that these are bad, as we all had to start somewhere, but I’m beyond this. My focus is on direct game and forming a genuine emotional connection. My mentors are David DeAngelo (classic I know), Paul Janka (for direct game), and the Dating Wizard (Toronto PUA).
I feel solid on all parts of the game (front, mid, and back), but I simply need to find a good wingman to go out with. I am very in tune with my emotions and can very easily get into an emotional vibe/chemistry with a girl.
Sadly, I work in IT and work at CP Rail (in Ogden) and live in Coventry (by the airport). I am simply not around hot girls. Plus, I have found that club game is a losing battle, so I focus on day game and pub/wine bar game.
As eluded to above, I hope to meet guys around my age (35+) who wish to meet a classy lady for love, and for a HOT relationship that has a STRONG emotional connection that can be felt. Phone #'s mean nothing. Having a girl look at you and smile and say "wow... I've never met a guy like you!" That is the connection I strive for.
