I've been studying this stuff, but not truly using it in earnest for some time now. I'm recently single and have been going out between 3-5 days a week. GREAT success over the past few months, BUT every single cold approach involves alcohol, and I'm having such a hard time doing it stone cold sober. My biggest goal here is to kick that habit - then I can focus on a whole bunch of new problems. Also, this seems like the most "mature" forum I was able to find on the topic in terms of keeping an open mind and having a wide array of ages and ideas. I think I'm going to like it here. |

Welcome! That's good that you are trying to game sober as it will help you improve faster by remembering details on how the set went and eventually you'll be able to game better sober than drinking. You don't have to cut out alcohol cold turkey. You can slowly ween down to having less drinks and continue to game and feel comfortable. I usually game sober, but sometimes I will drink to just make the set run smoother as some girls may feel uncomfortable if you're not drinking. |
