hi, i'm new to the PUA game. I have picked up a few books, and dabbled in other stuff off and on, but never very seriously, as I figured it was possible to avoid the whole game if you were sincere and simple. Yet I've come to a point in my life where I've said that I've had it, I'm tired of not knowing what to say to beautiful women when I approach them (I have no problem approaching, my problem is knowing what to do when I do approach so I don't walk away thinking...well that was nice, but totally unsuccessful and I don't know why), and finally get some competence in this area so that women are not just one big question mark in my head finally. So, some basics about me: -I'm 35 yrs old -Going through a divorce, that I initiated, because I realized I had settled after 5 yrs of marriage and realizing that every day I was wonderng if I could do better -Before I got married, I did some serious studying of Ross Jeffrie's stuff, and used bits and pieces of it to some success, but never tried actual patterns -Recently, I have been going through "The Manual" by W Anton and "The Mystery Method" by Mystery. Anton's book has really opened my eyes as to what really turns women on, and how it's not bodies, as it is for men, and why. I still really don't understand the Mystery Method at all, it is all seeming so complicated, but I'm keeping working at it. -My hobbies are the outdoors, working out, learning new things, and improving myself. -My goals are to approach 2-3 women per week (my time is very limited at the moment due to working and going to school both) I'm hoping I can learn from people here, and maybe some things I've learned can help others too. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing how all this goes. I have never really used a forum long-term before, so this is all new to me, so I'll learn as I go. |

Welcome to the boards man! Seems like you already done some research on game theory and are ready to apply it. That's good that you are setting weekly goals. The more approaches you do, the faster and better your game will improve. Feel free to ask around for questions and insight. We have a lot of knowledgeable guys here. Keep it up! |
