| Post subject: | Hello brethren... Thank you all for having me |
Hi everybody. I'm new here if y'all can't tell! =] lol well let me introduce myself. My name is fun, I am a 24 yr old Chicago native born, bred and raised. I'm into nerdy shit like comic books but I am also interested in other stuff like boxing, improvising, music ie playing instruments and all that jazz. I've always been drawn to adventure and having fun hence my name, but I haven't always been good with the opposite sex. My problems range from self esteem problems which includes confidence issues. I also am new to the game so there's that. I was in a 6 yr LTR to top it off so although it's helped me in learning abt women it hasn't helped too much in terms of meeting new women and pickup. I love meeting new people and consider myself an extrovert but when I meet new women and get a # close I usually get LJBF'ed or rejected over a course of time. Some say I'm too nice or even think I'm gay which is weird but understandable. There probably are a few reasons to this. I realize I come off as too excited and "thirsty" which in many cases I am. Im also too passive, too nice, and too agreeable which is a Fucking death sentence when it comes to the opposite sex as I've learned. I've gotten a lot of advice which usually is "be yourself." Lying or being fake never gets you anywhere but in the same token I need to tone it down a bit and show off my nice guy/ excited side way later on like after the first few dates or after we have sex etc. I also suffer from one-nitis always. My BFF told me I need to date again and get laid etc. we both encourage each other and one day he told me abt this book. I thought nothing of it at all. He lent it to me and. 2 words. FUCKING AMAZING. The book blew my mind. It not only contained a vast array of knowledge but the anecdotes in the book alone are worth a read! If anyone reading this hasnt read it (im assuimg most have. if you live or come through Chicago u can borrow it) id bump that to the top of my list. One of my fave books and has helped me immensely since I've read it. Lately I've been building a nice repertoire of knowledge and skills that will not only help me expand my arsenal but will also help me become a better person in the long run. I still have so much to learn but I am glad I have found the holy grail and the brotherhood that will help me reach it. I look forward to helping as well as learning from all of you and meeting you all in person one day. - Fun =] |
