Hi fellow PUA's and AFC's,

I am new to these forums and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a student and freelance artist living and working in Hertfordshire, UK. I was first made aware of the community when someone I knew recommended the book The Game by Neil Strauss to me to read. Ever since then I have been trying to adopt the PUA mindset where girls are concerned and running game when opportunities present themself.

I would somewhat describe myself as an approach machine. However, this often comes with an unfortunate prerequisite which I am determined to cure. My fearless approach only really happens when I have an audience or at least one person telling me to go. I find it easier to feed off the guys who don't have the balls to do so but would enjoy watching me approach girls and see how they react to my approach. Under these circumstances I easily approach and sarge girls. Granted not always successfully but I'm happy to keep going as long as people keep watching (I know it sounds kind of twisted). But if I don't have someone to witness me I often find myself hesitating a lot no matter how hot I think the girl is and really want to approach, even when she's giving me an IOI or proximity alert. Clearly there is still some AFC in me.

I have also found that I much prefer day game over night game. The guy who introduced me to The Game and who I used to sarge with could only really sarge in nightclubs and usually only when he got a bit fucked on alcohol. This might sound like your typical lad and not really consider it sarging but it was. When he got drunk enough or high enough on coke or both he was on fire. Not with approaching and usually only with girls he had previously been introduced to by a mutual friend. However, this has increasingly become a problem for me, especially because I gave up alcohol before we started sarging.

Hopefully I can get some pointers on this forum and help out others too. I look forward to talking with you guys and reading your posts. And I'll continue to post my experiences as I sarge. Hopefully I will be able to fix these little dilemmas of mine,

J.
