Lots of materials and guidelines on the internet especially for the guys who are new at this.
My advice is to try sticking to one particular framework first, and master it comfortably before you begin looking at other frameworks. This way your learning is not jumbled up and you can stick to more or less a linear learning.
Over time you will also realize that there are some mindsets in pick up that can negatively impact your mentality as a whole, and you will have to ditch them quickly. Having a positive mindset is incredibly important to persist and pursue in the long term. For example, negs are the last thing you should be doing.
1) Negs are basically trying to lower a value of a girl during the social interaction so you do not seem like one of those guys who put her on the pedestal. The truth is, imagine for a second that you are brad pitt or tom cruise and you have an incredibly enormous social value. The world is your playground and you are earning tons of money out of this lifestyle. You date models all the time and to you, they are just another person. You do not see them as higher value just because they are beautiful, and as such, you do not have to put down someone else's value just because you want to stand out. Chances are, you probably don't care. Furthermore, with the growing pick up community, negs are dished out fairly often, and beautiful women knows that this insincere gentleman is not being honest to himself and to her. Your subcommunication will sell you out.
Rather, continue working on other aspects of your life as they all have an impact on a seductive lifestyle.
