Hey all I guess it's kind of standard to begin with an introduction-post on this forum, so, here I am. To start off, I've never understand why fora like these existed. Surely if you have good information/strategy/techniques/... you'd want to keep them for yourself? Less competition = more women for you! Luckily I'm wrong, otherwise I'd be pretty much fucked... I'm a 16 y/o man (maybe 'boy' is more fitting I need to grow some balls and get my head around how to pick up girls. The worst thing of all is that other people are noticing that I suck with women and they're starting to make fun of me b/c of it. This makes the pressure of 'succeeding' with women even higher, which on its turn feeds the fear of rejection. I realise that this part of the forum might not be the ideal place to tell all about my problems. What's the best place to start around here? I've read the thread with the worthwile threads but am a bit confused how those threads are going to be a good place to start for a true beginner... Could you guys help me out? Cheers PS: is my age a problem? I know not all of the theory on this site is applicable for my age group but is it against the site's policy / is it frowned upon? TL;DR Joined forum to overcome insecurity with women Need help with approaching girls and staying away from the friendzone Where to begin? |

You're still really young. I would suggest figuring out what you can do to build your self esteem. For example, if you accomplished X, would it make you more attractive? Examples include: -Joining a sports team and excelling at it -Exercising -Getting a good job -Doing well at school -Being helpful to your family and friends This should help build your confidence and can ultimately help you with women. Best of luck! |

Best of luck! Thanks for responding! I get where you're coming from but the truth is that I am already doing well at school, am exercising and am in a sports team. I love my family and my friends and although I could do more social activities (considering my age) than I'm doing right now, I'm actually pretty content with how things are going right now. The thing is, I've always got this insecurity about what other people think or might think of me. This stops me from meeting new people and especially from meeting girls. I have to confront myself with my fear and dive in head first: start talking to girls I don't know and taking it further than friendzone. I'm going to be rejected in the beginning (and probably further in the process too) but there's just no other way. I HAVE to get rejected to actually feel it's not that bad and that it's just another thing I can learn from. I've been living on the edge of depression for about 3 years now mainly because my confidence lies in the hands of others. Getting smoother with girls will change a lot: my confidence will skyrocket and I will finally start to enjoy life without much worries, like I want to. I'm looking forward to it |

I just posted something similar to this in another post and it may help you: Step 1. Go to areas in your town where there are a lot of attractive teenage girls. Step 2. Approach them and say "Hi, I just saw you and thought you were absolutely gorgeous. I had to introduce myself. I'm XXXXX." Step 3. Let her know you'd love to hang out with her and get to know her. Get her # and follow up to meet up for a date. Step 4. Do this at least 10x per day everyday for the next 3 months. I'd suggest keeping a blog to track your progress or posting your experience on the forum for advice or feedback. If you truly do this, you'll be approaching 70 attractive women per week. You should be able to get at least 1 date out of that. And 1 date every week isn't bad for somebody who just moved to a new city. You can meet more people through the girls you date. |
