Hey all, Brief introduction - Michael from South Africa here. I've often read through the forums from time to time but after my last "dating experience" I think it's time I start getting more involved in the forums and trying to get my shit together >.< Strengths and weakness wise in terms of what I think I need to work on. I'm fairly fit (not a big gym guy) but I do a lot of rock climbing and running so I'm not a blob. When it comes to talking to girls it's a hit and miss for me. When I'm comfortable around the girl then conversation flows naturally and all is well. Throw me into a new situation where I've just met the person and then most times I'll burn >.< So that comes down to how forward the girl is and how quickly I warm up to her. Which is not a quality I like about myself. I feel it should be the other way around and I should be the 1 direction the conversation and making her feel comfortable. This was blatantly obvious with a girl I was with last night. Quick background story but we met online and had been chatting for a while on SPAM where we get along great. Went on a coffee date and not the best. We chatted throughout but it felt forced a lot of the time. We talked about it afterwards and decided to give it another go and same thing. Just that constant string of awkward silences where you end up just saying the first thought in your head in the hope that some kind of conversation starts >.< We ended up just agreeing that it's not going to work and left it at that. So my goals for this year are to try sort out my shyness and overall confidence Well that's my story. Thanks for reading. - Michael |

Evening fellas, I'm new on here, obviously I'm looking to go out and approach women in the evening, and also during the day too, with like minded guys like myself. I'm based in Glasgow. From time to time i get fluctuating levels of approach anxiety and this needs to be eliminated for good. And the best way to do this is to have feedback with this forum, and the person i go out approaching with, Rather lend support to each other. |
