Hi, I'm a 21 year old University student in Ireland. 5 months ago my girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me and it rocked my confidence. Recently I have been trying to get back in the field. Having been in a relationship since my mid-teens I never really developed any pick-up skills. I'm in a male dominated course and take part in male dominated hobbies so I don't really get a chance to mingle with girls other then when I'm out at pubs or clubs. I started reading "The Game" last week and that's what brought me here. My problem is approaching girls. I never had any issue talking to girls while I was in a relationship, I just treated them like lads to be honest but now suddenly there's this mental block stopping me. There has been a few occasions where I've had some success in nightclubs but only when I was far too drunk to remember what I did right. Sober, I can't even approach girls. Anyway its pretty clear to me that my primary problem is confidence. Any ideas on how to get over this? |

i would recommend just going up to random girls and asking for directs or somewhere to eat or something along those lines then get a recommendation where to go and ur off into a convo. this will then get your confidence up as each time u do it will become less of a big deal to u. .plus i wouldnt dig at yourself too much for not being able to daytime open.... ur at uni which means most people get to know each other through being drunk. |
