Post subject:  brand new to pickup

Well I just recently went through a breakup after six years and now I've been flung onto the market with no game whatsoever and diminished confidence. I read the book "the game" by Neil Strauss and discovered that communities like this exist, so I come to this place for advice. I'm wondering if anyone has advice on opening approaches or exercises to get past my nervousness when approaching a woman in public. Specifically the library the mall or a restaraunt because that's about all the options that are out here. Any advice or comments would be much appreciated. Thanks

As someone else said on here, "that's like walking into a library and asking for a good book!"

There are TONS of resources on this site to check out to help you game.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to post them in the forum or you can PM me and I can take a whack at them.

Good luck and welcome!

Well thanks for the warm welcome. And yea I figured i was a little over general in my post. I guess more specifically my sticking point is when talking to a woman I have trouble having light conversation. I read a lot of psychology and philosophy and my every conversation comes out heavy and people get put off. But otherwise I did browse some of the different topics in the forums and ill have to browse some more. They're all very helpful.

The forum is structured so that whatever question you may have there is a place where to ask it :)
If then you have questions you don't like to share with everyone you can always pm somebody that you trust more than anything. But remember this: everyone here wants to learn and everyone here wants to give advices so you can (kinda :D ) trust us

Welcome and good luck for your near future! :)
