Alright fellers? I'm brand new here. 32 years old from Manchester. Got bored and started reading about NLP a couple of weeks ago and ended up here going "WOW this stuff sounds really cool!" and thinking things like "did I really used to go out to bars with no game plan at all? Nothing to say other than "So what do you do?" (urgh.) So I tried a few approaches while out with a couple of pals and instantly had the night of my life. Didn't pull, just had such a laugh meeting new people. And those few steps toward the sets are a rush and a half. So I'm officially hooked. Thing is I'm the last of my crew to settle down and have kids so I think I'm gonna need a wing/boot camp/mentor. For now though I'm gonna practise a few routines. I know they're not ideal, and confident, relaxed spontaneity is the goal, but I know I need to acclimatise, particularly when I'm sober, because I will be, I want to do this right. Self improvement is my motivation here and I'm going to do it properly. I hate not being good at something. If anyone knows anyone local (Manchester/ North West, UK) that may be able to help an committed novice, please let me know. Cheers Sonny |
