| Post subject: | New and Checking Out What I Can Learn |
Hey what's up guys, I am 24 years old and located in Boston. Not sure when i 'got into' the game but I came out of a long term relationship at the beginning of my junior year of college and would say I guess that was my starting point. Sophomore year I came across a book called the Paradigm Effect? (Or so I believe) but my buddies apartment that I sublet this summer had Neil Strauss book The Game in it and I picked it up and read it in between the gym and FIFA/TV at night. The pick up methods I like to use when at a bar never involve approaching the girl purposefully (unless she's at the bar and doesn't see me approach). Most often I use my personality and groups of friends to get to know a girl and go from there. At the bar I will approach a girl from the side while she's waiting to order and usually have no trouble sparking up a conversation. Part of the reason I'm getting into this is because of my schedule during the week. I currently am in my second year of law school and don't do much socially during the weekends or during the week and don't have much time to interact with girls for this very reason. My goal by joining this forum is to learn and or gain the ability to approach girls in public, whether on the T, the sidewalk or wherever she may come along. I'm very confident in my ability to proceed once i've initiated an opener or gotten her attention. But that's where my fault comes in. As for what I like to do, it ranges the whole scale. I like dive bars/lounges and clubs, playing video games, house parties or just non-drinking activities. |
