I used to suffer from pretty bad social anxiety (I get the impression a few here have had to deal with that), and as a result I’m quite new to all of this. I’ve done a bit of reading and am keen to get into the field, but so far my biggest sticking point is getting started – I’m petrified of going out and trying this on my own. I’m working up to it, and if I can meet people here I can train with (I’ve already found a ‘Brisbane’ thread), I’m sure that’ll be a great help. In time, I’m hoping I’ll get good enough at it to start helping others in the same way. (Also I've never used a forum before, so I hope I've put this in the right place...) |
