Post subject:  Exploring a different angle to interpersonal dynamics

Hey there. I'm learning about PU artistry and the like because I find human interaction dynamics exciting and fascinating. I'm in my late twenties and live in a rather sex positive, progressive European country (sorry I can't give more details). I'm pretty happy with my own sex life right now (not to be gauche but the city I'm in has a lot of hot people) but of course one can always become better.
I've also had some encounters with PUAs and am very curious about what kinds of people ascribe to this methodology and why. What are their motivations? Are there common personality traits? Being on the receiving end of PU artistry is going to give me a different POV here. When someone attractive starts "The Game"ing me, it generates for me two responses:
1. It piques my curiosity as to what exactly he believes is insufficient/flawed about himself enough that he needs to use PUA. For some reason, he thinks that he, as he stands himself, is not good enough; or that he needs to conceal part of himself. As Robert Greene discussed in the Art of Seduction, a "mixed bag" persona, or someone who hides a dark secret or flaw under the surface, is appealing to people. It can be more enticing than a 1-dimensional "what you see is what you get" presentation. It makes me want to find out more about him.
2. I do a fist-pump in my head because I know that I'm basically guaranteed a scintillating evening of mind games, concluding with fucking.
