Hey everyone,I'm new to the PUA artist community and would like to learn from all the fellow members: Ill follow the format posted by Chief: Im currently in Toronto(Mississauga to be exact). I am 30 yrs old... Well I was your AFC so my younger brother took pity on me and gave me his copy of "the game" about 1.5 yrs ago.I started reading and was hooked,i realized right away the very fundamental mistakes I was making.Anyhow, due to academic committments(med school) I never got the chance to practice my newly found knowledge or develop the skills.However, the few girls i did talk to afterwards, I always had some of the pearls in mind, and i got better at atleast the attraction bit.But mostly due to moving around alot of clinicals,i never got serious about it or looked to join a lair. NOW, an opporunity presented itself and I am in an interesting situation. I picked up the book again,read most of it and I am more serious about reading further into the skills like body language, hypnosis, good openers, routines, negs, my overall image and confidence. I would also like advise, but as a newbie, ill probably post in existing threads.Hopefully soon,i can contact people in my city and get some practical experience and go sarging. I read the book at first almost 1.5 yrs ago, now i picked it up recently and have started reading it more carefully and also other skills mentioned in it. I am not sure, i like the mystery method but i would also like to incorporate other tools and methods that can bring success.Afterall, for all PUAs, the goal is the same! Hobbies/passions are mostly outdoor activities, esp. in the summer. I like to work out and play sports as well.I would certainly like to widen this though. Well my career goals are to get into residency next yr. Personal goals are to get comfortable and good at attracting women,since that seems to be one of the only areas I am really bad at. I like this girl, who has shown great interest in me, even though she has a bf(long distance). I used some of the basic PUA methods/theories to develop interest. Now, after demonstrating DHV, shes having problems with her bf...I get a msg from her guy today, saying I need to back off because i am creating problems. Funny thing is, i never even tried to talk about her guy(save maybe telling her she should make better career choices, rather than taking a lower position just to move back to him)...even then i never included a direct reference to the boyfriend, which i thought would bring down my value and make me look overtly interested.Anyhow, it seems to be working.But now the cat is out of the bag so to speak and the guy msged me today saying I should stay clear because its causing problem.I dont really know how to handle it.I thought about telling him that he needs to take responsibilty for his own actions, rather than telling me not to talk to her.but i am just not sure!!!!I just got back to Toronto, we are three ppl living in three different places btw:).
