Post subject:  Avocadoes- A fresh start in Montreal

Hello everyone, I'm Avocadoes, I live in Montreal.
I am a 20-year old college student. A friend told me about the game a couple of weeks ago and I finally decided to rent it last night, now it's almost finished and I'm already fascinated. I have no experience, but am extremely eager to learn, I have many goals this site (and especially the people I'll meet in my city) will help my achieve. Those goals include, but are not limited to: conquering my fear of women, my fear of rejection (mainly due to my stuttering), meeting people with the same goals as me and forming new friendships, developping a mind frame that can help me achieve anything I want with my life. I know I have the potential to be a better person and I think it's time I start acting on that.

Thank you in advance to the community and to the people who created this site.

Hi Avocadoes.

This stuttering aspect is quite interesting. Have you ever had a situation where it has made everyone in a group laugh? Or can you be playful with it?

That seems like it could be such a huge advantage, because it has the potential to make people feel very uncomfortable and then show a massive amount of confidence.

I knew a guy like that in the UK, stuttered and had Tourettes, but he was a god. I was so impressed by how he could use it to bust everyone up in the room. It was true alpha. No matter the conversations going on when he suddenly shouted something all eyes turned to him. He then made a joke and started saying funny shit and the conversation was his. It was incredible.

Yes, I have tried and gotten on the funny side of things, naturally. Now that I've read the book and am thinking less romanticly about heterosexual relationships, I'm going to try even more.

Basicly in high school I realised I had to be cute about it and laugh at myself before they, especially the alpha males or the clowns of the class, got to do it. An example I can remember is talking about the second modern star wars (I had thought Christensen's acting was terrible in the movie): "The movie sucks, I'm a terrible acter but even I'd be better than Hayden Christensen. Granted the movie would take years to shoot since we'd have to redo every scene for my stuttering, but the end result would be better ! "

Tell me more about this Tourette's guy
